Hi, I am Alexis Dunlap.

I'm 26 years old and a single mom to 3 amazing little boys (Colton age 7, Noah age 6, and Jasper age 4). My love for photography began when I was a little girl, probably around the age of 8 or 9. I dabbled in the field in 2016 when I was pregnant with my oldest son but then had to stop due to some complications in my pregnancy. I ended up working in various factories and warehouses and even a little retail trying to figure out what kind of career I wanted. Fast forward to December 10 2021, the day that changed our lives forever. We were hit by the massive quad state tornado at 1030pm. I walked away with several severe injuries that now prevent me from working a physically demanding job so I decided to purchase another camera and start back on square one. I have now purchased a home in Belleville and plan to grow my business here. I've already received so much support from the community and I'm so grateful for everyone. My goal is to eventually gain enough clientele to be able to do this full time and support my family. I still have a lot of growing to do in my skillsets since I've been out of the industry for so long but while I'm still getting the hang of things again, I will be offering lower prices to reflect that.
